Mumzy run outside very quickly and a dog came sniffing around. I was able to get to her but the dog started to chase her. I couldn’t believe she has no fear. If not for my friend, the dog may have reached her. Next time I will get the dog first instead of trying to reach her. She jumped up on a planter but the dog was right under her. Now she is resting on her new found pillow from the pet shop at the Refugio. She loves yellow and this pillow makes her feel snug.

These little newborn kitties needs someone who can take care of them and the mother for two months, we will supply the mother’s cat food and all medical treatment required, they need to be far from other cats while the nursering process.

If you want to keep the babies and the mother just for two moths in your home please let us know, after two months we promise we will pick up the cats and the mother.

This dog was found crying alone close to Tobias Bolaños Airport, Ksenia took him and gave him food and water, some neighboards are taking care of him, but he needs to be adopted.

Zeus

Zeus was found by our volunteer Lisa, he was starving in a parking lot. People had been throwing him chicken bones and he would hide from car to car. He would lay underneath until the car would move and then find another car to hide under. He was dehydrated so tempting him with a big bucket of water was easy. I named him Zeus because he seemed to survive on air. He would look at me and scurry away as if saying, “I don’t need your stinkin’ charity.”

Princesa´s Story

Princesa, arrived at the Animal Shelter a few months back sick, under-weight and missing an eye… She was abused!

At the Animal Sheler she received proper care, medication and food. When she was better, she was put up for adoption and this couple came along and took her home where she gets all the love, care, food, attention. Princesa´s new parents take her to the park after work to see and play with her friends, Gipsy, Cliford, Boby, Coqui and Luna… Now Princes is a happy dog!!!

This is 3 legged dog’s story

She was brought in by neighbors, her front leg was infected by hair that was knitted around her paw after amputating her leg the good neighbors take car of him and adopted him.He walks around with his 3 legs like nothing happened. jumps plays and is happy
